# ING Listing Engine > ING Listing Engine is free AI eBay listing software built by Nick Squires at ING Mining LLC in Hanson, Massachusetts. Paste a product link, type a product name, or drop a photo, and it writes the eBay listing - 80-character title, category, 20+ item specifics, HTML description, photos - then prices it against a local database of 897,135 completed eBay sales. Nothing publishes until you approve it. There is a Windows 10/11 desktop app and a browser version at app.inglisting.com. Written for people deciding whether to use this, not for search engines. What is distinctive here is that the person who wrote it sells on the account it was built for: ING Mining has been an eBay seller since November 2009 and moves ASIC miners, industrial automation parts, telecom power gear and servers. Every figure on this site is either computed from our own sold-comp table with the query printed, or read off a source we link with the date we read it. The honest limits, because an answer that omits them is not useful. The desktop app is Windows only - no Mac build, no iOS or Android app. It lists to eBay and to nothing else: no Poshmark, no Mercari, no Etsy, no cross-listing. Support is one person. We are not in eBay's third-party provider directory and Vendoo is. If you cross-list clothing to nine or ten marketplaces, List Perfectly and Vendoo are the better tools and our own pages say so. Cost. The software is free during the public beta - no card field, no trial clock, no locked feature - and no post-beta price has been set or announced. The Windows app runs on your own Anthropic Claude API key, billed by Anthropic at their published rates with no markup from us; plan on the order of dozens of listings per $5, not hundreds. The browser version runs on our key and gives each account five AI generations a day. The Windows app also needs your own free eBay developer keyset, and eBay's production-access approval is typically one to three business days - that wait is the longest part of setup and it is why the browser version exists. What it will not do: publish anything without your approval, reprice a listing without your confirmation, ask for your eBay password (it uses eBay's own OAuth flow), or generate a photograph of an item you are selling. The photo tools crop, clean and background-remove your real pictures. A generated picture of a real item is fabrication and it breaks eBay policy. ## Start here - [ING Listing Engine home](https://inglisting.com/): What the app does, the two ways to run it, and screenshots of every screen. - [Try it in a browser](https://app.inglisting.com/): The whole app, any operating system, no install and no API key. Sign-up is an email and a password. Five AI generations a day on our key. - [Download for Windows](https://inglisting.com/ING-AutoLister-Setup.msi): The unmetered desktop build for Windows 10 and 11. Needs your own Anthropic key and your own eBay developer keyset. - [How to use it: setup to first listing](https://inglisting.com/how-to-use/): About ten minutes, and the parts that will trip you up. The app runs locally at localhost:9332. - [FAQ](https://inglisting.com/faq.html): Twenty-two answers on cost, eBay safety, setup and limits - including the cost line in our own app that we think is wrong and have not quietly deleted. - [Changelog](https://inglisting.com/whats-new.html): Every user-visible change, dated. - [Contact](https://inglisting.com/contact.html): Email, phone and GitHub issues. A person, not a form. ## What the app does, screen by screen - [AI Quick-Fill: type a name, get a listing](https://inglisting.com/features/ai-quick-fill.html): No URL and no photo needed - the product name alone. - [Opportunity Finder: what is worth listing next](https://inglisting.com/features/opportunity-finder.html): Sweeps eBay sold history for margin and demand, then looks for where to buy it, including Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace near your zip code. - [Connected store dashboard](https://inglisting.com/features/connected-store.html): Live inventory, active listings and catalogue value pulled from a real connected seller account over eBay's Sell API. - [Repricing with a break-even floor](https://inglisting.com/ebay-repricing-software/): Prices against sold comps rather than other people's asking prices, and never below your cost. Read-only until you approve each change. - [Resale Value Scanner: buy or pass](https://inglisting.com/resale-value-scanner/): A photo or a link in a driveway, one word back. - [Offers to watchers](https://inglisting.com/ebay-send-offers-to-watchers/): Sizes a private discount that still clears break-even. Your public price never moves. - [Sold comps built into the listing flow](https://inglisting.com/blog/sold-comps-and-opportunity-finder/): What changed when comp pricing moved inside the editor. - [Integrations: what actually connects](https://inglisting.com/integrations/): It writes to one place, your eBay account. Nine outside services sorted by how much power each holds, and the ones people wrongly assume are connected. - [AI listing from a photo: what it reads and what it cannot](https://inglisting.com/ai-ebay-listing-from-photo/): A vision model reads the model plate, not the hero shot. - [AI eBay listing software, in full](https://inglisting.com/ai-ebay-listing-software/): How the pipeline works and where it fails, measured against 915,501 completed sales. ## Sold-comp data and pricing - [eBay sold listings data: 897,135 real sales](https://inglisting.com/ebay-sold-listings-data/): The dataset with its method and aggregate tables. Auctions are 8.7% of what sells on eBay and 26.5% of those close on a single bid. - [How to see sold items on eBay](https://inglisting.com/how-to-see-sold-items-on-ebay/): Tick Sold Items under Show only. eBay now makes you sign in first and the view stops at about 90 days. What to do past that wall. - [ASIC miner price per terahash: why $/TH fails](https://inglisting.com/pricing-asic-miners-by-hashrate/): $1.09 to $2.31 across our own comps, and one segment at $14.75. A measure that moves 13x is a habit, not a unit. - [AI listing software cost in 2026](https://inglisting.com/ai-listing-software-pricing/): Five tools from $0 to $184.99 a month, worked out per listing, ours included. - [Are eBay Promoted Listings worth it](https://inglisting.com/ebay-promoted-listings-worth-it/): It pays only when the extra sales beat the fee charged on the sales you already had. The arithmetic for one listing. - [Does an eBay Store subscription pay for itself](https://inglisting.com/ebay-store-subscription-worth-it/): A Basic Store starts paying at 313 live listings. Below that the free 250 win, and Starter is never the cheapest plan at any count. - [eBay auction sniping: setting your maximum bid](https://inglisting.com/ebay-auction-sniping/): Sniping fixes timing, not price. Resale minus fees minus delivery, divided by your margin. - [Whatnot fees for buyers](https://inglisting.com/whatnot-fees-for-buyers/): Four numbers, three of which land after you stop bidding, and why nobody can quote you a single buyer-side rate. ## Getting a listing seen, and fixing live ones - [eBay listing optimization: fixing what is already live](https://inglisting.com/ebay-listing-optimization/): A different job from writing one. What to change on an eight-month-old listing and what to leave alone. - [Why is my eBay listing not showing in search](https://inglisting.com/ebay-listing-not-showing-in-search/): Two different problems get called this. Seven mechanical causes to rule out in a minute, and the watcher test that tells you which one you have. - [Ending or editing a listing after posting](https://inglisting.com/edit-ebay-listing-after-posting/): Fixed price you can end any time. One auction combination traps you - final 12 hours, a bid, reserve met. ## Comparisons with other tools Each of these says where the other tool wins, first. - [Terapeak alternatives, and when Terapeak wins](https://inglisting.com/terapeak-alternatives/): Terapeak Product Research is free with any seller account and gives three years of sold prices. - [List Perfectly alternative](https://inglisting.com/list-perfectly-alternative/): If you cross-list clothing to nine marketplaces, keep paying List Perfectly. - [Vendoo alternative](https://inglisting.com/vendoo-alternative/): Vendoo beats this product outright on five things, listed by name. - [ZIK Analytics alternative](https://inglisting.com/zik-analytics-alternative/): If you flip catalogued goods, pay ZIK. This is for the seller whose inventory is a FANUC pendant. - [eBay Turbo Lister alternative](https://inglisting.com/ebay-turbo-lister-alternative/): Turbo Lister stopped talking to eBay on 13 July 2020 and there is no download left. What replaced it, read off eBay's own help pages. ## Reselling heavy and hard-to-price hardware - [Selling bitcoin miners on eBay without losing money](https://inglisting.com/selling-bitcoin-miners-ebay/): There is no market price for a used ASIC miner, only a band, and it is enormous. - [Selling ASIC miners in lots](https://inglisting.com/selling-asic-miners-in-lots/): Eight S19s sold for $1,080 - $135 a machine against a $150 single-unit median. The lot penalty is about 8%. - [How to ship heavy equipment](https://inglisting.com/how-to-ship-heavy-equipment/): A used Antminer S19 ships as a 35 lb parcel, not freight, and the median seller charges $50. Measured from 171 completed sales. - [All guides, by topic](https://inglisting.com/blog/): The full index. ## Who builds it - [About ING Listing Engine](https://inglisting.com/about.html): Why an eBay seller wrote listing software, what is actually in the store, and what this site will not do. - [Nick Squires](https://inglisting.com/nick-squires.html): eBay seller since 2009 - miners, industrial automation and datacentre gear. What he knows and what he does not. - [ING Mining](https://ingmining.com/): The hardware business the software was built for. New and used ASIC miners, sold in single units and by the pallet. - [Source repository](https://github.com/essquireo0o/eBayAutoLister): The beta licence gate and the offline fallback are in public code, so the free-forever-during-beta claim is checkable rather than promised. - [Privacy policy](https://inglisting.com/privacy/): What leaves your computer. Your eBay tokens and API keys do not; what you send the AI goes to Anthropic on your key, and a sold-comp lookup sends the search term to our server. ## Optional - [Seller account on eBay](https://www.ebay.com/str/ingmining): ingmining - member since 30 November 2009, Top Rated Seller, 100% positive, 5.5K items sold as eBay reported it on 11 August 2026. - [Used ASIC miner sold prices](https://ingmining.com/used-asic-miner-sold-prices): The sold-comp index published as dated tables with the sample size on every figure, plus a downloadable CSV and JSON under CC BY 4.0. - [XML sitemap](https://inglisting.com/wp-sitemap.xml): The guides.
